Writer's Block

Nothing, nothing at all.
One minute it flows, the
next it is drier than
the Simpson Desert.  But
then clouds appear, drops
fall, a shower proceeds
and a storm evolves.  Suddenly,
the desert is flooded, and
afterwards, life thrives,
only for the rain to
disappear, and the desert to
suck all life away,
yet again.
